NetPing Light Sensor 813S2
- 32.00 USD
NetPing Light Sensor 813S2 is a compact luminous flux presence sensor designed to connect with NetPing devices.
- Threshold adjustment 10–7000 Lx;
- An adjustment step 10–300 Lx;
- A viewing angle 25–30°;
- Hysteresis 20%;
- Sensor triggering/release time from 1 s up to 20 s;
- An output type NPN, an open drain/dry contact connected to an IO-line of a NetPing device;
- An operating temperature range -30...+50°С without moisture condensation.
The device is not intended for any domestic use.
This sensor can monitor the sudden emerging of artificial lighting in guarded objects, as well as back up an operation of a door sensor.
You can effectively use it at the following facilities:
server rooms;
data centers;
base transmission stations (cell towers);
rooms with equipment;
storehouses;
guarded objects.
The device also allows remote monitoring of the presence of luminous flux and automatically control light sources depending on the level of illumination of the surrounding space of the following objects:
residential buildings;
premises of administrative buildings;
banking and insurance institutions;
educational and preschool institutions;
leisure centers;
general catering establishments;
shops
consumer services enterprises;
hotels;
hospitals, pharmacies;
transport tunnels.
The device is made on an electronic board in a compact case (the width is 15 mm, the length is 68 mm). In order to increase reliability, electronic components of the sensor are covered with a polymer film. In order to install it easily, a hole with a diameter of 5 mm is made in the sensor case, and a self-adhesive surface is applied.
The device board has two LEDs indicating the operating mode, the green one - "day", the red one - "night". The design of the device includes an SW level switch that switches the measuring sensor to different response ranges, as well as a trimmer potentiometer RV1 to correct the sensor response.
The sensor is connected to I/O lines of monitoring units.
The information of connecting the sensor is specified in the "User Guide" for the device connected to the sensor. For information about the sensor configuration and functionality, refer to the Firmware Description for the device to which you will connect the sensor.
The length of the loop from the sensor to a host device should not exceed 100 m. If it is necessary for you, you can extend the length of the native loop with Cable 4 extender, 4m or you can use any wire with a cross-section of at least 0.4 mm².
The user guide is available on the docs portal.
